Your anesthesia will be administered by a medical doctor who is an Anesthesiologist. Below are the common types of anesthesia used at our facility:
General Anesthesia – You will be asleep throughout the procedure, monitored by your anesthesiologist.
Monitored Anesthesia – You receive medication to make you comfortable and a bit forgetful, during the procedure. Your anesthesiologist will be checking your level of comfort throughout the procedure. This is often given in addition to local anesthesia.
Local Anesthesia – Your Surgeon will inject numbing medicine at the surgical site. This is usually preformed for minor procedures not requiring an anesthesiologist.
